The Overview Effect by Lindsey Drager

December 2, 2020

Lindsey Drager’s novels have won a John Gardner Fiction Prize and a Shirley Jackson Award. This year she was runner-up (to Ted Chiang) for the Neukom Institute for Computational Science Literary Award at Dartmouth College. A 2020 National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship recipient in Prose, she is currently an assistant professor at the University of Utah. "The Overview Effect" is part of a series of minimally produced low-fi audio fictions that use found and recycled sound to explore humans and/in space.
