Kristin Emanuel holds an MFA in poetry from the University of Kansas where she studied ecofabulism and the comics poetry movement. She is currently a PhD student in English and Comparative Literature at Washington University. Her visual poems and comics have appeared in journals such as Shenandoah, Storm Cellar, and The Indianapolis Review among others, with new comics and poetry forthcoming in Gigantic Sequins and Ecotone.
